Why Reiki Healing in Bangalore isn’t effective!- My Experience
When I was living in Bangalore for my engineering studies, life was extremely difficult. Being away from home was tough, I kept falling sick every two months, and the constant exhaustion made me feel like something was seriously wrong with me. That’s when my healing journey began.
Now, looking back I understand I had very severe separation conflict and anxiety. But the anxiety was so chronic that
I started exploring alternative therapies because conventional physiotherapy and repeated medications weren’t helping. I wanted to go deeper, to heal the root cause of my pain and struggles. That’s when I discovered Reiki.
My Reiki Journey
I learned Reiki in Bangalore and began my practice. I completed Level 1 and Level 2, and for 5–6 years, I practiced Reiki every single day. However, my experience with it wasn’t that great because I didn’t get results so in my opinion, it was gentle but too gentle.

Reiki did make me feel a little better like it calmed me and gave me moments of peace. But over time, I realized something was missing. My health issues were still there, and my life continued to feel messy and overwhelming.
I wanted results! I wanted a real transformation that was actually visible after every session. Reiki was helpful as a gentle, overall healing energy, but it wasn’t targeting the specific problems I needed to resolve.
Discovering EFT Tapping
The turning point came when a teacher in my engineering college introduced me to EFT Tapping and advised me: “Only follow Gary Craig, the founder of EFT. Don’t get distracted by the noise online.”
That one piece of advice changed everything for me.
I started learning directly from Gary Craig’s courses, and for the first time, I understood how EFT truly works. Unlike many practitioners who just hand out tapping scripts, Gary emphasized the importance of working on specific emotions tied to specific events.
That’s when I realized EFT wasn’t about blindly repeating scripts and it was about understanding your emotions, tracking them, and releasing them at the root.
I also joined EFT practice groups where we worked together using Gary’s methods. Slowly, I began to see progress but I also realized that results don’t come overnight. EFT requires consistency, patience, and the right guidance.
How EFT Changed My Life
In the first 2–3 years of consistent practice and working with skilled practitioners, I started experiencing real transformation:

- My lifelong depression began to fade. Today, I haven’t had a depressive episode in years.
- I overcame my deep fear of people and others’ reactions.
- My physical health improved dramatically, I healed my psoriasis, skin rashes, depression, anxiety and recurring eye issues with EFT.
- I stopped falling sick frequently; I rarely get fevers now.
I feel healthier, stronger, and more balanced, both emotionally and physically. EFT has not just healed me; it has given me confidence, freedom, and a whole new life.
Why EFT Works Better Than Reiki (For Me)
While Reiki is a beautiful practice, it works by channeling universal energy for overall healing. It’s gentle and calming, but often too general.
EFT, on the other hand, is specific. It directly connects to particular emotions tied to particular events. Once you release the emotional charge of a traumatic event, you feel a deep, lasting shift. In just 10–15 minutes of proper EFT, you can feel like a completely different person.
The most powerful part? Once an event is healed, it doesn’t come back. You move forward, stronger and lighter, without reliving the same pain again.
My Approach as a Practitioner
One thing I’ve noticed is that many EFT practitioners don’t go deep enough. They don’t track numbers (intensity of emotions) or check if the emotions have truly been released.
In my practice, I carefully write down emotions, create transcripts, and ensure every charge comes down to a 2, 3, or ideally, 0. This attention to detail is what makes healing truly effective. EFT requires experience, patience, and the ability to truly understand where the client is coming from.
Over time, my speed and intuition with EFT have grown. Today, I can help clients achieve in 15–30 minutes what may normally take hours with regular tapping. My clients often tell me how amazed they are by the quick and lasting changes they experience.
Reiki vs. EFT in Bangalore

If you are in Bangalore and exploring healing, here’s how I see it:
- Reiki: Gentle, calming, great for beginners or those who just want relaxation. It works for overall balance but is not specific.
- EFT Tapping: Powerful, precise, and fast. It targets the root cause of issues, whether it’s trauma, depression, anxiety, or physical symptoms. With just 1–2 sessions, you can start seeing noticeable changes.
My Final Message
Healing is a personal journey, and every path has its value. But for me, EFT has been nothing short of life-changing. It has given me emotional freedom, health, and hope when I thought nothing would work.
If you’re searching for Reiki healing in Bangalore, I invite you to also explore EFT and Optimal EFT. Whether you’re struggling with trauma, health issues, depression, or anxiety, EFT can help you find deep and lasting relief.
I am grateful to Gary Craig for creating this method, and I feel blessed to now offer these sessions to others. If you’re ready to heal, know this: EFT works, but you also have to be willing to put in the work and face your emotions. The results are worth it.
