How to Boost your Self Confidence Using EFT Tapping
Low self-confidence is something that affects so many people, and I deeply understand why. It’s not just feeling a little insecure, it can seriously mess with your mind, your decisions, and the way you interact with others.
In this post I will share all my tips on how to boost your self confidence using eft tapping and it is all based on my personal experience and what worked for me.
Low self-confidence often makes you overthink, constantly compare yourself to others, or try too hard to please people.
I know I fell into that spiral many times, questioning every decision I made and feeling like I was never enough.

But the thing I’ve realized is that you are not broken. Low self-confidence isn’t a permanent trait that some people have and others don’t.

It is something that is often learned, shaped by experiences—like repeated criticism, lack of validation, or even harsh feedback from people close to you. It can also be held up through several childhood traumas that you are unaware of.
I personally struggled with all of this growing up, and EFT tapping became my tool to slowly, carefully heal my confidence and rebuild my sense of self-worth.
My Personal Journey
As a child, I was constantly criticized by my parents, by authority figures, and even sometimes by my teachers. Every little thing I did, from how I looked to how I acted, was scrutinized.
Even though I excelled academically and was generally well-liked, all those criticisms chipped away at my confidence. I started to feel small, unworthy, and constantly anxious about how others perceived me.
I dealt with low self-confidence and low self worth every single day. It affected everything, my choices, my social interactions, and even how I approached opportunities. Later I was diagnosed with chronic depression and anxiety so that wasn’t fun either.
But when I discovered EFT tapping, it slowly became my lifeline. I practiced it daily for six years, tapping through memories, emotions, and limiting beliefs.
Today, I feel confident, composed, and able to speak my mind without fear. I can share my opinions, express myself fully, and engage with others without that paralyzing self-doubt.
Why Confidence Feels Hard
Confidence often feels difficult because it isn’t just about wanting to feel better it’s about undoing the emotional wounds from the past.
Childhood criticism, bullying, or harsh treatment from authority figures can leave deep scars. Even a teacher ridiculing your appearance or abilities can create an internalized belief that you’re “not enough.”

For me, these experiences compounded over time. Every criticism, every harsh word, every moment where I felt unsafe to express myself built up into a pattern of fear and self-doubt.
These emotional charges lingered into adulthood, making me feel unsafe to shine, to take risks, or even to fully trust my own abilities.
Confidence is not just about trying harder; it’s about addressing these deep-rooted beliefs and emotional blocks.
How EFT Tapping Helps
EFT tapping doesn’t “force” you to be confident. It doesn’t tell you to just go out and do more things and hope you magically feel better.
Confidence grows when you address the emotional charges that are holding you back. For example, you might avoid performing on stage because a past memory makes you feel small or inadequate.
Even if you’re confident in other areas of life, these unresolved events can hold you back.
Tapping through these events helps you release the emotional weight.
You start to see the situation from a new perspective, and the fear, shame, or self-doubt begins to dissolve.
EFT doesn’t just give temporary relief, it permanently rewires how you relate to those past experiences. You feel lighter, freer, and more capable.
How to Improve Your Self-Confidence with EFT Tapping
To start, identify five to ten key events from your past where your confidence was hurt or where someone’s words or actions made you feel small.
These could be from childhood, school, family interactions, or even early career experiences.
Once you have these events, break each one into smaller fragments.

This prevents overwhelm and allows you to address the emotions piece by piece. Slowly revisit each fragment, notice the emotions it brings up, and write them down.
Rate the intensity of each emotion from 0 to 10, then tap through each one. As you tap, the intensity should decrease, sometimes gradually, sometimes quickly.
Keep track of the overall emotional charge of the event, and monitor it over several days to ensure it has truly diminished.
Move through the fragments in order, part by part, making sure not to rush or skip any emotions. Even completing just one event will give you a noticeable boost in confidence.
Completing four or five events can bring a profound shift in how you feel about yourself and your abilities.
Tips for Long-Term Confidence
Avoid relying solely on generic EFT scripts if your goal is permanent change. Scripts can be helpful in the moment, but real transformation comes from working on your own specific experiences and emotions. Consistency is key.

Daily practice over time will permanently shift your self-perception and build lasting confidence.
EFT tapping is not just a tool for temporary relief, it’s a method to truly clear the limiting beliefs that hold you back.
Over time, you will notice that you approach challenges, interactions, and opportunities with a sense of ease and self-assurance that you never thought possible.
