Living with lower back pain for almost a decade felt like carrying a hidden weight that never fully went away.

The pain would come and go, sometimes mild, sometimes unbearable, and it often left me feeling frustrated and powerless. But today, I can confidently say that my lower back pain is completely gone.

The reason? A powerful combination of EFT Tapping and my knowledge of German New Medicine (GNM).

This blog post isn’t just about my personal healing journey, it’s about showing you how emotional healing can directly impact physical symptoms and why EFT Tapping can be a life-changing tool for those struggling with chronic pain.

My Struggle with Lower Back Pain

For ten years, lower back pain was a constant companion. I had days where I could manage it and others where even simple tasks like sitting or bending felt impossible.

The most extreme case of physical pain I experienced was a severe muscle pull in my left leg that left me bedridden for 15 days.

Doctors told me it would take time and rest, but deep down, I felt there had to be more behind this pain than just my body being “weak” or “injured.”

That’s when my journey with emotional healing deepened. I started to connect the dots, how my body was responding not just to physical strain but also to my emotional history.

Understanding the Emotional Root of Back Pain

From a GNM perspective, physical symptoms are often linked to unresolved emotional conflicts. Lower back pain, in particular, is commonly associated with feelings of being unsupported.

When I looked back at my own life, this made complete sense.

Growing up in a not-so-perfect childhood, I often felt like I had no one to rely on. Situations where I needed emotional support were instead met with neglect, misunderstanding, or pressure.

Over the years, those feelings didn’t just disappear, they stayed stuck in my body, showing up as pain in my lower back.

Once I realized this, healing no longer felt impossible. The pain wasn’t random; it had a story to tell.

Using EFT Tapping to Heal the Pain

EFT Tapping gave me the tool I needed to finally address these deep-seated emotions. Instead of just focusing on the pain itself, I worked on the events and memories that carried the strongest emotional charge.

For example, I revisited moments from my childhood where I felt unsupported, unloved, or pushed aside.

Each time I tapped, I brought those memories into the open, acknowledged how I felt, and released the intensity around them.

I rated each memory on a scale from 0 to 10 before I started tapping. Some of them were as high as an 8 or 9, which meant they carried a lot of emotional weight.

As I tapped, I could feel that number drop, sometimes slowly, sometimes quickly, until it reached a point where I felt calm and neutral.

For most memories, my goal was to bring them down to zero, but even when I landed around 1 or 2, the relief was tremendous.

After working through 4–5 of these key events, something incredible happened my back pain was gone. And it wasn’t just temporary relief; it was permanent healing.

Why Combining EFT and GNM Works

What made my healing journey so powerful was combining the insights of GNM with the practice of EFT Tapping.

GNM helped me identify the emotional conflict behind the pain, feelings of being unsupported. EFT then gave me a practical, step-by-step way to resolve those conflicts.

Together, they addressed the real root cause instead of just masking the symptoms

This approach also gave me something even more valuable: empowerment. Instead of feeling helpless about my pain, I had a tool I could use anytime a symptom appeared.

No waiting for someone else to “fix” me, no endless cycle of painkillers or temporary solutions just me and a process that worked.

Final Thoughts

Today, my lower back pain is completely gone, and I feel lighter both physically and emotionally. Healing those old wounds not only helped my body but also gave me a new sense of freedom in my life.

If you’re someone struggling with chronic pain, I encourage you to explore the emotional roots of your symptoms.

Ask yourself: What am I holding onto? Where in my past did I feel unsupported, unsafe, or unloved? Once you begin to connect those dots, EFT Tapping can help you release that energy and free your body from the burden.

Pain doesn’t have to be permanent. Just as I healed my lower back pain, you too can experience profound relief when you address the emotional side of physical symptoms. EFT isn’t just about feeling calmer, it’s about reclaiming your health, your strength, and your life.

If you feel like you need help or one-on-one EFT Tapping sessions then I do offer them as an EFT practitioner. I know at this point it might seem llike I have a lot of issues, lol but I actually did have them and at a very young age of 24-25. I’m much healthier the more older I get, so if you take care of your emotional health, your physical health gets so better with time.
